What Is Seacell
Seacell fiber uses seaweed from the ocean as its raw material. Refined seaweed extract is processed through wet-spinning technology into a biomass regenerated fiber. It offers environmental protection, non-toxicity, flame retardancy, biodegradability, good biocompatibility and abundant raw-material sources. In recent years, it has attracted increasing attention from researchers and consumers.

Hygroscopicity: There are a large number of hydroxyl groups in the macromolecular structure of Seacell fiber, giving it good moisture absorption. The moisture regain rate of pure Seacell fiber can reach 12% to 17%.

Flame retardancy: Seacell fiber has essential flame-retardant characteristics, can self-extinguish away from fire, has a limiting oxygen index of 45%, and belongs to the non-combustible fiber category.

Bacteriostatic performance: Seacell fiber contains trace lactic acid or oligomers with bacteriostatic effects. Tests using Staphylococcus aureus found that its bacteriostatic and bactericidal activity values were above qualified levels.

Radiation protection: Seacell fiber has a good adsorption effect on metal ions.
